Community Engagement

When we commit to a student or a staff member, we commit to the whole person — not just a programme, but a life. We understand how difficult that journey can be, for them and for their families, and we choose to walk alongside them for the long road, not just the easy parts. Our hope isn't simply to help people get by — it's to see them thrive spiritually, physically, and emotionally, so they can grow into all they were created to be.

Our social worker team visiting a family

Family Visits

Real change rarely happens in a single visit — it happens in the hundredth one. Our social worker team visits every family multiple times a year, not as a formality, but as a relationship we choose to keep showing up for. Together, families and our team navigate whatever challenges life brings, and over time, something deeper takes root: trust that only grows through consistently being there, season after season, year after year.

Pig farming training in the community

Pig Farming Training

Once a year, we open the doors to an eight-week pig farming programme — equipping local farmers with everything they need to build a piggery of their own from the ground up. But our part in the story doesn't end when the training does. All year long, our team keeps returning, cheering on progress, offering guidance where it's needed, and celebrating the hard work each farmer pours into something built to last for their family, and the generation after them.

A VSLA group meeting

VSLA Groups

VSLA stands for Village Savings and Loan Association — open to women and men alike. Families come together to grow in financial literacy, build real business skills, and create income-generating opportunities for themselves. Here, a small saving can grow into the seed of a business, and no one has to carry life's hardest seasons alone.

Bible Study & Prayer

Before anything else happens at Change Tomorrow, the Word comes first. It's the cornerstone everything else is built on — it is the heartbeat of who we are. Every single person on our team commits to it daily: our teaching staff gather each morning before the school day begins, our national staff meet each evening before heading home, and even our children start their day rooted in scripture. We sing, we share, we go deep — together — so that wherever the Lord plants us next, we carry His Word with us and let it overflow into everything we do.

Out of that daily rhythm, prayer groups gather once a week — a space where people bring their whole hearts: their joys, their burdens, their hopes — and leave lighter, carried by one another in prayer.
